Is there any china more delicate than Limoges? The patterns seem endless. I can see where one might make a collection of this French porcelain alone. I have been on the lookout for Limoges tea cups and saucers, and was lucky enough to find one while thrifting on my recent travels.
A sweet little sugar bowl and berry dishes were nearby too. I'm looking forward to a mix and match tea fest with some of my other vintage pieces. These would make a darling gift set as well.
The details are just enchanting. Each berry bowl has a differently rendered flower of the pattern at the center. And I'm loving the peachy pink and mint green together.
More sweet details. . . . Perfect for a midsummer tea.
Delicate and dainty chamomile matches the mood.
I think this china will always remind me of a few sunlit days amid the summer meadows of Washington State. I only wish I had thought to press a few flowers!
Wishing you the softer side of a day in summer!
